One Woman | Eight Voices

I love creating character voices!

First, I invent a persona.

Then I figure out how they breathe and move.

After that, I find their tone and pacing using just sounds…no words!

Once that feels comfortable, I write short sentences using different phonetic sounds.

Then I’m ready to record, listen back, and re-record until it’s just right.

Plus, I always remember to IMPROVISE!
